On Monday, February 5, 2024, at 9:39 p.m., officers from the North Precinct responded to a shooting call at a bar in the 8700 block of North Lombard Street (exact location yet to be released). When officers arrived, they found a man who was deceased. The victim’s identity will be released after confirmation by the medical examiner and notification of family members. The Public Information Officer (PIO) is not responding to the scene, and further details will be provided as deemed appropriate.
No arrests have been made, and no one has been detained. The Portland Police Homicide Detectives are investigating the incident. During the investigation, North Lombard Street will be closed from North Baltimore Avenue to North Alta Avenue.
